What actually happens on your first call with a personal injury lawyer

The first call is the part people are most nervous about, and honestly it is the easiest part of the whole process. You are not signing anything. You are not committing to anything. You are just telling a real person what happened and getting an honest read on whether you have a case.

We start with the basics. Where were you, what happened, were you taken to the hospital, are you still in pain. We do not need police reports or photos or paperwork ready, and we do not need you to remember exact dates. If you have it, great. If you do not, we will help you get it later.

What we will not do is pressure you. If your situation is not a case, we will tell you that and point you to whatever resource actually helps. If it is a case but a different kind of lawyer would serve you better, we will say that too. The first call is free, and it stays free whether you hire us or not.

By the end of the call you should know three things: whether you have a claim worth pursuing, what the deadline is in your state, and what the very next step is, even if that step is just resting and seeing a doctor.

Got a question about your own situation?

Telling us what happened is free, with no pressure and no obligation.
